Although there were some announcements that Meho Kodro could be a successor of Mehmed Bozdarevic, that is yet to be seen, and members of the Football Association of BiH will continue activities regarding the election of the selector of our representation in the upcoming days.

Vice President of the National Football Team of BiH confirmed that proposals of the Expert Commission were Amar Osim and Meho Kodro, but that does not mean that a third person will not be the future selector of our Dragons.

Many other names were mentioned during the “election campaign”, mainly Robert Prosinecki and Slavoljub Muslin. However, both of them were very grateful for being selected as candidates, but they noted that they are not interested in taking over the national team of BiH at the moment.

Therefore, Kodro and Osim are still in the game as the most serious candidates. Formerly famous BH football player, who played for Barcelona at the top of his career, currently works as the coach of the Swiss second league team of Servetta, and he led FC Sarajevo during his coaching career.

Osim achieved his biggest coaching success with FC Zeljeznicar, with which he won the title of the Champion of BiH five times, four Cups, and one Supercup. He also worked in JEF United from Japan and Al Kharaitiyat from Qatar.

On the agenda of the session of the Executive Board were some other topics as well. Sofrenic said that they mostly discussed current issues, as well as the visit of the President of UEFA, who will be visiting Sarajevo on November 29 and 30.
