After the analysis of 403 samples, collected in the period from October 3rd to 6th this year, 45 newly infected persons with coronavirus were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton. A total of 36 people, or 80 percent, belong to the family clusters or contacts of previously ill people, and they have been in self-isolation since before.

In the previous 24 hours, the recovery of 29 people was recorded, so that the number of active cases of coronavirus infection is currently 237.

There are 39 people undergoing hospital treatment in the Isolator of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in Podhrastovi, one of whom uses mechanical respiratory support while breathing, while one has been released from hospitalization from this isolator during the past 24 hours.

In the period from September 23 to October 7 this year, 552 self-isolations were ordered.
