New Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 357 laboratory samples have been tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, and a new coronavirus (SARS-CoV- 2) it was confirmed in 23 people in this entity.

These are 14 women and nine men, of whom seven are younger, 13 middle-aged and three older, RTRS reports.

According to the place of residence, five people are from Doboj, four each from Banja Luka and Modrica, three each from Derventa and Kotor Varos, and two each from Celinac and Prnjavor, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

So far, 1,502 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 116 people have died.

In the laboratory of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), a total of 321 samples were tested for coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The presence of Covid-19 was found in three people, two from Tesanj, and one from Travnik.

According to the data of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, a total of 2,609 people have coronavirus.

A total of 1,968 recovered, while 159 people died from the effects of the coronavirus, according to the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs. A total of 95 people were infected in Tesanj, and 12 in Travnik.
