New Cultural Center opens in Sarajevo

zenica-culture-centerThe new Center for Culture opens on Friday afternoon in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) capital Sarajevo, providing interesting programs for wider audience, local media reported Friday.

The former Hadzihalilovic Villa is reconstructed in the new place for gathering of audience of all ages, providing various cultural program for children, youth and elderly.

The cultural center is supposed to host exhibitions, theater performances and literary evenings.

Very important is that citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to attend different classes and educate themselves in music, drama and journalism.

The Center includes a corner for book lovers, a tea room with daily andweekly newspapers and magazines from BiH and the region, as well as selected books that will be available to visitors.

This cultural center, one of many in Sarajevo, aims to be a place of joint meetings where people will feel comfortable.
