Trznica Dolac 071109The Company Markets Sarajevo owns 15 acres of land on which they plan to build a big market and according to Jasmin Terović, the director of the company, they are still working on the idea.

“We would like for Sarajevo, following the example of other European cities, to get its bigmarket”, says Terović.

After the conceptual solution, they will try to make a financial structure that would show how much the whole project should cost.

“This is an idea that I hope will be realized in future with the will of the Canton or possibly a Public-Private Partnership,” he said.

The aim of the superstore would be to purchase products from domestic producers from BiH which would be placed in the area of market.

There are 15 acres of land, in the ownership of the Markets Sarajevo, located in Stup and lies unused, the board of Markets plans to start with the production of berries as an interim solution.
