To the delight of many winter sports fans, Sarajevo has a new ice rink in an attractive location as of today. The youngest citizens, but also those a little older, will be able to spend the days of winter vacation enjoying on the ice in the Center “Safet Zajko”. The ice rink will be available to skaters from today, every day from 10 am to 10 pm, Radio Sarajevo writes.
The opening of the skating season is planned for 12 noon, and in addition to skating, visitors can expect other interesting facilities with hot drinks and desserts. Skating will be free for all ages, and those who do not have skates will be able to rent them at a symbolic price of one BAM for 45 minutes of skating, provided that the skates on the day of opening can be used free of charge.
The Safet Zajko Center is a place where a large number of Sarajevo residents spend their free time during the spring, summer and autumn months, and the Municipality of Novi Grad is continuously working on enriching the content that will attract visitors during the winter as well.
