Sarajevo International Airport registered 118.350 passengers in August, which is an increase by 17 percent in comparison with the same month last year. Therefore, this airport again broke the record when it comes to the number of passengers in one month.
In the period from January 1 until August 31 this year, the Sarajevo Airport served 584.956 passengers in total, which is eight percent more than in the same period in 2015.
“This is the third time in the history of the Sarajevo Airport that more than 100.000 passengers pass through this airport in one month,” stated the management of the Sarajevo International Airport.
