EU Operational Commander Meets Head of NATO PESC in BiH

On 19 March 2026, the European Union Operational Commander for the EU Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy, met with the Head of the NATO Political Engagement Support Cell (PESC) in BiH, Ambassador H.E. Vladimir Vučinić.

The meeting underscored the strong and continuous cooperation between the European Union and NATO in support of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s stability and security. Discussions focused on key developments in the country, reaffirming a shared commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens.

Both interlocutors emphasized that stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina remains firm, highlighting the importance of coordinated engagement and a unified international approach.

Ambassador Vučinić reiterated that the PESC represents a vital element of NATO’s presence in Sarajevo, stressing that sustained cooperation with international partners is essential for preserving long-term security and stability.
