Representatives of the USA Embassy at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Bahrija Umihanić today showed readiness to support the opening of new working places.
This meeting was initiated by representatives of USA Embassy after they were informed on activities of the new government of Tuzla Canton focused on production and employment in economy.
Lian von Wantoch, the Head of Economic Department of USA Embassy and Edhem Barnković, economic expert, on this occasion emphasized the possibility of support through the project of Improving Local Development (GOLD) that is partially financed by the American Agency for International Development (USAID).
The goal of this project is the promotion of an integrated ad comprehensive planning of local economic development and the realization of the Cantonal activities in the sectors with the greatest potential for rapid and sustainable enhancement of new working places.
Representatives of the USA Embassy during the meeting announced their support in direct investments which will generate new working places, after confirmation of specific activities at the Cantonal level, announced the Office for Common Tasks of tChe antonal Bodies of Tuzla Canton.
