Literary award ”Slavko Jungić Jesej”, awarded for the first time this year by the Serbian Cultural Society ”Prosvjeta” from Čelinac and Winery ”Jungić, went to Nikola Zelenković for his collection of poems. Other awards at last night’s literary night in Čelinac went to Goran Veselinović from Banja Luka for the story entitled ” What kind of a man are you?”, Svjetlana Đurić for the story ” Village with lion’s head” and to Helena Ostojić and Aleksandra Jelić for their collections of poems.

The jury for this literary competition consisted of a writer Momčilo Spasojević, professor of literature Aleksandra Krminac and the owner of the library ”Elena” Svjetlana Cvijanović. The jury reported that 16 literary pieces entered the competition by 15 authors younger than 30 years.

This award is given  in honor of the life and literary output of a poet Slavko Jungić Jesej, who tragically ended his life in a car accident. He had an exceptional talent for literature and acting, and he left three collections of poetry.

Željko Jungić the sponsor of this event and the owner of the Winery ”Jungić” thanked all participants of the competition and the literary night, emphasizing that his wish is to have  this competition as a tradition every year.
