Niksic after the Meeting of the ’Coalition of Three’: The Scale of Crime of the previous Government was enormous

Nermin Nikšić, president of the SDP party, said that the scale of crime and corruption of the previous government was enormous and that everything was being documented and sent to the competent institutions, first of all the Federal Police Administration.

He said that chaos and so much crime were found in the Agency for the Management of Confiscated Assets that, as he said, he has “a pile of documentation”, at the same time announcing that the public will find out about everything soon, and that some of the irregularities have already been forwarded to the competent institutions.

At the press conference of the leaders of the Troika, Nikšić said that he has no intention of making any rotten compromises when it comes to Bosnia and Herzegovina and that all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina benefit from the agreements reached in the previous period.

Nikšić said that no European law had been adopted in the last eight years, and that the dialogue policies are starting to work and produce results.

“You have noticed that lately there is no argument about betrayal and there is not a single argument that we did wrong in the period that is behind us,” said Nikšić.

Elmedin Konaković, the leader of People and Justice, said that on one highway project, 41 percent of the five-kilometer route was built for the money provided (76 million euros) and that all the money was spent.

“Subsequent works were 150 percent more than the basic cost price. I have never seen a more arrogant crime,” said Konaković, mainly accusing Elmedin Voloder, the former director of “Autoceste FBiH”.

The bidder for that project on some routes put the price at zero euros and later they justified the prices with geological findings and invented the route with the intention of stealing 100 million euros on the five kilometer route.

He emphasized that the situation is the same in “Elektroprivreda”, where there was theft and extortion, and that the damage in this crime can be measured in the billions.

“We saw crime on every meter of space,” Konaković said.

Apart from the crime and corruption in the public enterprises of the previous government, Konaković said that the story of the EU expansion brought BiH back to life and that BiH has a chance, reminding that BiH is the first country to leave and that people’s dissatisfaction is justified.

“For the past ten years, Bosnia and Herzegovina has lacked a leader who will convey truths to people and compromises that must be made by consensus,” said Konaković, adding that the coalition at the state level is functioning.

He said that BiH received a 303 million euro grant for the Western Balkans.

“The EU is preparing a large package of support for the Western Balkans, and it is money that should rapidly contribute to the development of BiH, higher salaries for employees, and it should be a new economic flywheel that will stop the departure of people from Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Konaković said.

Speaking about the Law on Courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Konaković said that he will never agree to the formation of courts that disempower the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We certainly will not allow the jurisdiction of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be lost and something transferred to the entities,” Konaković said.

Edin Forto, the president of Our Party, said that through BH Telekom, the will of the people in the Federation of BiH was bought in such a way that some association came forward and received money without criteria.

“That company turned into the largest charity without criteria for the allocation of these funds and lost the race in the market,” said Forto.
