180501405am“At this point, we must emphasize that the Posavina Canton was and still is the most vulnerable territory. To be more precise, area around Orašje is the part which is mostly endangered”, said Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić , on the show ” Pošteno” on the Federal television.

Moreover, he added that he was on the territory of Orašje together with the Chief of the Headquarter of Civil protection of FB&H Fahrudin Solak.

In addition, he emphasized that half an hour ago he had the last contact with Premier Oršolić.

“I cannot say that situation is normalizing, but it is calming down and at this point probably the most critical situation is in the area of Željezno polje in the Zenica-Doboj Canton. Unfortunately, we have a great number of villages that are completely cut off due to landslides”, Nikšić added.

Additionally, he was asked whether there are any indications from the Institute of Public Health, or from medical experts that some epidemics could be widespread, Prime Minister Nikšić answered that the Government of the Federation is holding sessions continuously.

“We had information and still are informed regularly from the Department of Public Health and we engage in monitoring the situation on the ground”, Nikšić said.

In any case, “we will be is faced with one big fight against epidemics and infections that are imminent danger after these floods.”
