A total of 25 companies from BiH are interested in cooperation with the multinational group “Kingfisher” from the United Kingdom.

The British company published a public call for suppliers in BiH for a large range of product. Companies that are dealing with the production and processing of plastics had the advantage. Companies had the deadline to submit the applications by February 9, but that was extended until February 26.

The Foreign Trade Chamber will organize individual meetings with representatives of chosen companies. Meetings will be held in the premises of the Foreign Trade Chamber in Sarajevo, and they are planned for the second half of the month of March.

“The RS has successful companies in the sector of plastics production. We believe that some of them will get this job and manage to establish cooperation with the British company. Any type of cooperation with foreign companies has a great importance to the economy of the RS, “said the spokesman of the Chamber of Commerce of the RS, Vladimir Blagojevic. He also added that domestic companies need to nourish their cooperation with foreign companies and to try to win new markets, in which they will have the support of the Chamber of Commerce of the RS.

The Kingfisher Group has its headquarters in London, and it is engaged in the sale of products intended for household in more than 1,200 stores in a total of 10 countries in Europe, Russia and Turkey.
