Numerous Tourists arrived in Neum for the Weekend, Increase in Prices recorded

In the coming days, temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius are expected in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), so many BiH citizens decided to spend the weekend in Neum and enjoy swimming in the sea.

Yesterday, hundreds of bathers refreshed themselves in the Adriatic Sea, and the temperature at 9 a.m. was already 23 degrees.

On the beaches of Neum this weekend there will be a lot of tourists from Serbia, Russia, France, Hungary, Germany, Poland…

Restaurateurs and hoteliers are satisfied with the visit, and a large influx of tourists is expected in the middle of the month.

“The weather forecast brought us good news and the apartments were filled immediately. We hope that it will be sunny in the coming weeks and months and that there will be good weather in September as well. The completion of the Stolac-Neum main road last year made it much easier to get to the only BiH city on the sea. Traveling to Neum is now easier and much faster, and it will be even better when the Pocitelj bridge, almost one kilometer long, is put into operation soon, together with the Pocitelj – Zvirovici section, which is 11 kilometers long, says tourist worker Nina Gabriel.

A series of musical, cultural and sports events will be held in Neum for the next three months.

On the sports field in Meteriz, the fourth “Friendship Tournament” of the Croatian Football Club (HNK) Neum is in progress. The tournament lasts until Sunday, when prizes will be awarded to the best four teams in each category.

Numerous catering facilities have arranged guest appearances by famous singers from BiH and the region, so young regional star Adi Sose will hold a concert on the beach of the “Stella” hotel.

Food and drink prices in catering facilities are slightly higher than last year, and depend on the arrangement of the facility and location.

Ten cevapi with fries in grill-pizzerias are 15-16 BAM, which is how much you have to pay for chicken fillet or pizza capricciosa.

The price of a hamburger is 13 BAM, and in some facilitieseven 18 BAM. Grilled squid is 24 BAM. When it comes to drinks, espresso coffee is from 4 to 5 BAM, draft beer from 5 to 9 BAM, and a bottle of water is 3 BAM. Deckchairs are rented for 10 BAM, and umbrellas for 5 BAM per day, N1 writes.
