Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Adem Zolj signed an agreement with representatives of trade unions, whose members receive funds from SC budget today. The agreement states the new salary base for 2019.

During the meeting, Zolj recalled that the Cantonal Government established the Draft Budget for 2019, which was sent to the assembly procedure, adding that it is the largest budget planned so far for CS.

In the Draft Budget, it is stated that the base for calculating the salaries of employees amounts to 315 BAM.

“Agreements have been achieved thanks to social dialogue, and this is a government that allowed an increase of the base for all those who are paying the budget, in a very short period of time,” Zolj added.

Zolj signed the agreements with President of the Independent Union of Cantonal Civil Servants and Employees Elvis Zornic, President of the Independent Union of Primary Education Saudin Sivro, President of the Union of Secondary and Higher Education, Science and Culture of CS Faruk Beslic, President of Independent Unions of civil servants, judicial authorities and public institutions in the Federation of BiH Samir KurtoviC and the president of Union of Sarajevo Canton Police Mirza Hadziabdic.

Hadziabdic estimated that the newly agreed base was a real one, and pointed out that the Government of CS in the period 2014-2018 achieved the highest level of social dialogue in the sense of achieving and increasing the salary and improving the working conditions of union members.
