ohrAfter the assembly of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) adopted a declaration entitled “Free and Independent RS, Responsibility and Future”, the Office of the High Representative (OHR) issued its statement.

The OHR in the statement recalled the earlier and clear position of the High Representative that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an internationally recognized state whose sovereignty and territorial integrity is guaranteed by international law and the Dayton Peace Agreement.

“According to the Dayton Peace Agreement, the entities have no right to secede from Bosnia and Herzegovina and their existence is based on the Constitution of BiH.

The constitutional structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina can be changed only in accordance with the amendment procedure defined by the Constitution of BiH.

There is no political party document that can change these facts,” stated the OHR.
