Prosecutors at the state prosecutor’s office have proposed one-month custody for the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzgeovina, Fadil Novalic, the suspended director of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection (FUCZ), Fahrudin Solak, and the owner of “Silver Raspberry” company, Fikret Hodzic.

“After questioning the suspects, the prosecution team of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a proposal to the Court of BiH to order a 30-day detention measure,” the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH said, Klix.ba news portal reports.

They spent the night from Thursday to Friday at the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), after which they were transferred to the premises of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH at around 6 pm on Friday.

It is now up to the Court of BiH to schedule a hearing to order custody or other prohibitive measures proposed by prosecutors.

The prosecution team was composed of Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadic, and consisted of three members – Merisa Nurkic, Mirza Hukeljic and Dzermin Pasic.

The investigation into the suspicious purchase of 100 Chinese respirators for 10.5 million BAM has been going on for more than a month, and during that period many witnesses were heard, numerous searches were conducted and extensive documentation and other items that could help shed light on the whole case were seized.
