Open Call for Participation at the Second “BETONFEST” Sarajevo

Beton-fest-Sarajevo-2012The Association for the Development of Culture and Arts “Progres” from Sarajevo invited artists and talented individuals in drawing to apply for participation at the second Festival of the Street Art “Betonfest”, which will be held on the streets of the center of Sarajevo from 29th August to 1st September.

Last year’s “Betonfest”, the first event of this kind in B&H, attracted great attention of the public, as well as a large number of renowned 3D street artists from all over Europe.

Thus, the festival provided an opportunity for the promotion of local young artists, especially students of the final year of the Academy of Fine Arts.

During two days, local and foreign artists with special chalks drew on the pavement streets in downtown Sarajevo.

“Betonfest” is a unique artistic and social event in the region, which shows that cultural life in B&H is in line with the most current trends in the region, Europe and World, was announced from the Association for the Development of Culture and Art “Progres”

The competitors can be presented with 3D imagery and two-dimensional images.


For the best competitors will be distributed prizes.
