The event “Days of Isak Samokovlija-Sun over Drina” will open tomorrow in Goražde.
The mayor of municipality Goražde and chairman of organizing committee Muahmed Ramozović said today at the press conference that this event will last for a few months and will be held in the cities that Samokovlija was connected to: Goražde, Sarajevo and Fojnica.
During the event there will be various programs such as an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Isak Samokovlija, as well as prize awards to pupils of primary schools.
The representative of the Jewish community of B&H Eli Tauber pointed out the significance of this event, which preserves the memory of Isak Samokovlija.
