Operation ‘Combo’: Drugs and Weapons seized, Two Persons arrested

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton arrested two people in the Ilidža area and seized drugs and weapons.

The operation codenamed “Combo” was carried out by police officers of the Department for Combating Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office.

During the searches carried out in the Ilidža area, several different PVC packages of a substance associated with the narcotic drug marijuana were found, totaling approximately 450 grams, a hand grenade, a digital scale, and other items of interest for the investigation.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs and Unauthorized Possession of Weapons or Explosives, H.J. (2002) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty, while M.H. (1991) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Possession and Enabling the Consumption of Narcotic Drugs.

After criminal processing, the suspect H.J. will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton.
