Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Canton Sarajevo Damir Filipovic confirmed for the Klix.ba news portal that 265 young people will surely get an opportunity to subsidize the housing, for which 2.65 million BAM was allocated in June this year.

Considering that at today’s session of Canton Sarajevo Assembly, DF, SDA and SBB parties MPs did not adopt a budget rebalance of 4,900,000, BAM thus questioning housing subsidies for approximately 190 more young people.

“With the budget rebalance, we provided funds for subsidies of all 459 young people and all those who were on the list after the 265th place in the list were endangered due to today’s failure to approve the budget rebalance,” Minister Filipovic explained.

Minister Filipovic added that Cantonal Government will hold a meeting tomorrow to try to find a solution and provide the missing funds to subsidize housing for all young people.
