Organic Production with Eco Tourism Will Open Opportunities for New Employment

malina(2)The Organic Alliance of the FBiH and the Organic of Central Bosnia Canton is organizing the 7th international fair for organic production and eco tourism ‘days of raspberries 2013’ in Novi Travnik, which will be held from 4-5 July this year.

“The manifestation gathers all farmers from BiH, as well as manufacturers from the sector of organic production in Southeast Europ. The goal is to connect organic production with eco tourism and at the 7th international fair of organic production and eco tourism we have already achieved this’’, said to Fena the President of the FBiH Organic Alliance Sejad Herceg.

At this year’s event, he said that 39 organic farmers from BiH and abroad will be presented, 45 producers of raspberries as well as representatives of tourist organizations.

As part of the fair, there will also be presentations of organic products and multimedia presentations of eco tourism, offers of tourist potential and natural resources.

This year special focus will be given to organic producers and preparations for a regional conference on the topic “Organic food for livestock and protection’’, as well as a working meeting of organic farmers of Southeast Europe, Balkan Organic Network (BON).

“This event always brings with it the message that organic production with eco tourism could be the key to success and creating new jobs and self-employment in the agricultural and tourism sector’’, said Herceg to Fena.

The sponsor of the fair is the FBiH Ministry for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, the FBIH Ministry for Environment and Tourism, Central Bosnia Canton government and municipality Novi Travnik.

The official opening of the fair will take place tomorrow at 11 at the square in Novi Travnik.
