As part of the international INTERPOL operational operation “Weka III”, members of the Foreign Affairs Service – Field Center Doboj, carried out an inspection of several legal and natural persons providing accommodation services in the Doboj area and on that occasion identified Chinese citizens who, for money, provided sexual services.

The criminal investigation determined that they were involved in an organized international prostitution ring.

The aforementioned persons were placed under surveillance at the Immigration Center, and measures of expulsion from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina were imposed against them, with a one-year entry ban.

Members of the Foreign Affairs Service acted on operational information and with the assistance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska – Police Station Doboj 1.

The Foreign Affairs Service continues to conduct intensive activities aimed at identifying, detecting and preventing all forms of illegal migration and related criminal activities, in cooperation with domestic and international institutions, the institution announced.
