Oric allowed to move in the Federation of B&H

Oric Indictment Confirmed slobodna-bosna.baCourt of B&H alleviated a restrictive measures for Naser Oric and expanded his movement to the whole territory of the FB&H, as confirmed by Oric’s lawyer, Leyla Covic.

By this, the proposal of Oric’s defense for alleviation of restrictive measures presented at the hearing on the 28th of September was accepted by the Court, which the State Prosecution did not object.

By the prohibiting measures that were determined 2 months ago, Oric’s movement was limited to Sarajevo and Zenica-Doboj Canton.

The other measures are in force such as: ban on traveling outside the B&H, withdrawal of travel documents and mandatory reporting to the relevant police station once a week.

On the 9th of September Court of B&H confirmed all of three counts of the indictment against wartime commander of the B&H Army in Srebrenica, Naser Oric and his fellow comrade Sabahudin Muhic.

Oric and Muhic are charged that they acted contrary to the provisions of International humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions during the war and armed conflict between the Army of B&H and the Army of the Republic of Srpska in the area of Srebrenica and Bratunac.

The indictment stated that defendants killed three prisoners of Serbian nationality, Slobodan Ilic, Milutin Milosevic and Mitar Savic during 1992 in places Zalazje, Lolici and Kunjerac.

Oric and Muhic are charged for war crimes against prisoners of war.
