After four years, the awareness of the Law on the prohibition of discrimination is still at a low level in the public in B&H, and a small number of cases filed in accordance with the Law on prohibition of discrimination, said to Fena Diarmuid Cunniffee, the legal advisor to the OSCE Mission on Occasion of the two-day roundtable on the topic of the procedural provisions to the Law on prohibition of discrimination in B&H, which finished today in Jahorina.
He recalled that research by civil society last year showed that only one in three people in B&H knows that the Law exists.
He emphasized that the purpose of the roundtable was to begin a formal dialogue on potential amendments to procedural provisions on the prohibition of discrimination.
