Over 1.3 Million BAM allocated for Civilian Victims of War

In Sarajevo Canton today, the payment of compensation to civilian victims of the war for July 2026 began, announced the Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of the Canton Sarajevo.

Fees were paid for a total of 2,853 beneficiaries who have the status of civilian victims of war.

More than 1.3 million BAM has been allocated from the Sarajevo Canton Budget for the payment of compensation to civilian victims of the war.


The relevant ministry states that the funds are available to users as part of the regular payment of benefits for July this year.

The payment to 2,853 beneficiaries continues the realization of rights belonging to civilian victims of the war in the area of Sarajevo Canton.
