Over 170 New Cases and 7 Deaths recorded in only Two Days in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) recorded 173 newly infected persons in the last two days. Seven patients have died in the last 48 hours as a result of coronavirus infection, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

In the past 48 hours, a total of 1304 samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health and the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska (RS), and a new coronavirus was detected in 112 people. In the past 48 hours, 1550 samples have been tested in the Federation of BiH, of which coronavirus has been confirmed in 61 people.

Currently, 46 patients are hospitalized in the Federation of BiH, four of which are on a respirator.  At the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, a total of 116 people are treated with confirmed or suspected presence of coronavirus.

In the COVID 19 Unit, 42 patients with severe clinical imaging were hospitalized, while four patients were isolated.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1,757 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed so far, with 69 people dead. A total of 30,793 people were tested, 8,669 patients were monitored, while a total of 727 were recovered.
