Almost no food has been delivered to northern Gaza for more than 50 days, the UN World Food Program said.

The director of the World Food Program’s department for the Palestinian territories, Antoine Renard, said that the level of hunger, devastation and destruction in the Gaza Strip is worse than ever, TASS reported.

“People can’t take it anymore. There’s barely any food coming in, and the markets are empty. About 815,000 people received food last month, which is barely half of those whose survival depends on food aid deliveries,” Renard said in a video posted on “X”.

According to the UN agency, almost 2.2 million people are facing severe food shortages in the Palestinian territories.
