The working lunch of the leaders of the opposition parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer and the Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans, Turkey and the United Kingdom in the European External Action Service Angelina Eichorst has ended

“It is a great pleasure for me to be in Sarajevo again. We are here to express the solidarity of the United States of America and the European Union, which we express for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and especially to give support to BiH in its movement towards EU membership,” said Palmer.

He pointed out that there was still work to be done in front of them.

“What I want to point out is that we had good consultative talks today. Of course, it is not easy to achieve what is wanted, but we were specific. These were talks with political leaders and we are positively surprised that they expressed readiness to reach an agreement that will benefit BiH and its progress, as well as all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Palmer.
