The payment of pensions for the month of April in the Federation of BiH begins today. The amounts of pensions remain at the present level, which means that the minimum amounts to 371.77 BAM, the guaranteed 465.87 BAM, and the highest 2.174.48 BAM.

The Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance has taken a number of steps to minimize the risk of the spread of coronavirus while paying pensions.

Accordingly, pensioners were enabled to change their pension payment method more quickly by choosing to pay by mail, and a number of pensioners have used it in the recent period, the Institute said.

Furthermore, as the decision of the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters defined that persons over the age of 65 are allowed to move on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the Federal Bureau agreed with the banks in the Federation of BiH to pay on the second day of payment, Wednesday, May 6, from 9 to 13 hours, they only make pension payments, and for that purpose, they hire more persons at the counters.

During the mentioned period, banks will not work with other clients, except retirees.
