The plane of Croatia Airlines, which landed in Sarajevo last night from Zagreb, has damage that is presumed to have been caused by firearms.

The pilot who was piloting the plane upon arrival on the Sarajevo runway reported damage to the fuselage, and according to the first unofficial information, the damage was caused by gunshots.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH was informed about the case, and the investigation on the runway of Sarajevo airport is in progress.

“After receiving information that the regular inspection of the plane at the Sarajevo airport, which arrived by flight from Zagreb, showed damage to the fuselage of the aircraft, which may have been caused by a firearm, the duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH requested an investigation by the investigation team, in the presence of officials from the BiH Civil Aviation Directorate, “it was stated.

It should be noted that the safety of passengers during the flight was not endangered, and a detailed inspection will determine the manner of damage as well as the safety of the aircraft for further air navigation.

It is unknown at this time where the plane was damaged and how the incident occurred.
