Planes started landing at Sarajevo Airport after Problems with Fog

After planes could not land at Sarajevo International Airport this morning, after the weather cleared, a plane from the United Arab Emirates landed.

The FlyDubai plane, which left that city at 11:00 this morning, landed on the Sarajevo airstrip as scheduled at 1:16 p.m.

However, a little earlier the plane from Frankfurt unsuccessfully circled the airport to eventually return to Zagreb and disembark the passengers there, who will continue on to Sarajevo by bus.

Sarajevo International Airport spokeswoman Belma Čureković confirmed for Klix.ba that the reason for the plane’s inability to land was fog and generally bad weather conditions.

Today in Sarajevo, as in previous days, the air is extremely polluted, which also reduces visibility, and in combination with the fog, a real horror atmosphere is created.

Fortunately, the day has started to brighten up in Sarajevo, so the city is more and more illuminated by the sun, Klix.ba reports.
