As confirmed to BHRT, the suspected police officers and others who were detained yesterday on suspicion of involvement in enticing minors into prostitution have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor’s Office.

They will be questioned during the day, and after that the Prosecutor’s Office should make a decision on whether to propose detention.

As a reminder, in yesterday’s action that shook the Tuzla Canton, seven people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in enticing minors into prostitution. Among them are high-ranking police officers.

The Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation, and the Tuzla Canton Government has already removed one of the suspects from office.
