New Ilidža klix.baIn the Municipality Ilidža, activities have been initiated for the project of building a new settlement for 20.000 inhabitants, confirmed the Mayor of the Municipality Ilidža Senaid Memić.

“We are planning significant investments in the coming period, and one of the most significant is the ‘New Ilidža’ project”, said Memić.

Namely, this settlement will spread across the right bank of the Željeznica River, from the pedestrian bridge to the entity line in Vojkovići. The project is worth two billion BAM, and there are many investors interested in these investments.

“This project offers sustainability, arranged parks, promenades, diversity of content, new quality of housing, regional business centers and luxury accommodation”, said Memić.

He points out that the public debates on the Draft Decision for the adoption and implementation of the regulatory plan “New Ilidža 1″, ”New Ilidža 2″ and “New Ilidža 3″ have been held.

”Together with the representatives of the Institute for planning of the Sarajevo Canton, we have presented to the citizens the Regulatory plan and the basic characteristics and specific features of the plan. As planned, it will be mostly a residential and business zone for collective and individual housing, with additional features, green park areas and characteristic roads, which will connect the planned area to the traffic networks of the wider municipality and the city of Sarajevo”, Memić noted.
