As part of this year’s Ramadan campaign, the Pomozi.ba Association distributed almost 500 tons of food, or 473,292 kg. A total of 11,600 packages and 73,020 iftars were distributed, bringing relief and joy to tens of thousands of people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Palestine, Syria and Yemen.

When it comes to international aid, 40,100 iftars and 4,200 packages were distributed in Palestine. 15,400 iftars were distributed in Yemen, and 12,090 iftars and 2,360 family Ramadan packages were distributed in Syria, Pomozi.ba announced.

“In Bosnia and Herzegovina, we distributed 5,040 packages, and our cooks in Sarajevo, Travnik, Zenica and Bihać prepared 5,430 iftars, which drivers brought to the doorsteps of our users every day with a smile,” stated Pomozi.ba.

In addition to the employees of the Association, numerous volunteers and 45 partner organizations participated in the preparation and distribution of packages in BiH, thanks to which aid reached numerous cities, towns and villages in Sarajevo, Zenica-Doboj, Central Bosnia, Tuzla, Una-Sana, Herzegovina-Neretva, Posavina, Bosnian-Podrinje Cantons, Goražde, and RS.

“We would like to express our special gratitude to all donors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora, BiH companies, catering establishments, bakeries, schools, student associations, and everyone who contributed in any way to the success of this campaign. We highly appreciate the empathy and solidarity of our citizens, who showed concern not only for their fellow citizens, but also for people hundreds of kilometers away, who are facing war suffering, poverty, diseases and great losses. This Ramadan has once again shown that together we can do a lot. No one should remain hungry and without the warmth that this holy month brings. Let’s go further, stronger and more determined to lend a helping hand to everyone who needs it the most,” concluded the Pomozi.ba Association.
