The association Pomozi.ba launched an appeal for the treatment of little Nahla Numić from Travnik, who is deaf and needs cochlear implants in Istanbul.
Humanitarian number 17007 is active to help this little girl, and two convertible stamps are donated by invitation.
“Nahla turned one year old on January 19 of this year. Now she should start saying her first words, but that is not possible because she was diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss, and cytomegalovirus was detected in her body,” Pomozi.ba reported.
For the installation of cochlear implants, this adorable baby needs 34,500 euros. A cochlear implant is an artificial inner ear, and the ideal time for this operation is from 12 months of age to 24 months of age.
“In the past period, we have launched numerous appeals for our little ones who cannot hear or speak, such as little Džana, Fatma, Afan, Daris, Nedim… All of them show extraordinary results after having implants installed, they can hear and speak. Let’s help and our Nahlica,” stated Pomozi.ba.
In addition to calling the number 17007, donations are possible through the website http://www.pomoziba.org or standard giro accounts of the organization Pomozi.ba.
