Pomozi.ba to distribute 5,000 Meals to the Participants of the Peace March on Wednesday

Peace March

5,000 meals will be distributed in the geographical area of Snagovo for participants of the 2015 Peace March. The participants will be moving towards Potocari on Wednesday to pay tribute to fallen victims and to mark the 20-year anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.

Meals were ensured by the Pomozi.ba Association from Sarajevo, under the project name “All of us for 5,000 of them“. Pomozi.ba has decided that this would be the best way to contribute to the commemoration ceremony of the 20th anniversary. The organization aims to highlight the importance of community via distributing meals.

The meals that will be provided were ensured thanks to many corporate sponsors that wished to provide support for the ceremony.

Sponsors announced that they seek to support participants of the pedestrian march not just this year, but also for coming years, as activities such as these will help remind people of the horrific crimes that occurred not too long ago.

The Peace March will last for three days, from the 8th to the 10th of July, and has three stages. Each stage is between 25 and 30 kilometers long.

The march will begin on Wednesday in the municipality of Sapna.
