The administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, Samantha Power, ends her three-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina with a series of meetings, which began with a meeting with BiH Presidency Chairman and Member Zeljko Komsic, Sefik Dzaferovic and Milorad Dodik.

Meetings with other entity and state officials are also planned during the day. Samantha Power previously emphasized that the focus of the meeting with the members of the Presidency of BiH, among other things, will be the implementation of structural reforms that would bring our country closer to the European Union.

The meeting was attended by all three members of the BiH Presidency, as well as the US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Eric Nelson.

Samantha Power has long been aware of the situation in BiH, especially the events surrounding sanctions and changes to the Election Law. During her visit, she conveyed the message of US President Joe Biden that the United States is with the citizens of BiH.

Today, she will visit Trebevic, where she will present an initiative to improve BiH on the international tourism market. In addition to Power, the meeting will include representatives of the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH (FBiH), as well as the world’s leading travel site “Tripadvisor”
