vlasicThe half meter snow that fell the past few days on Vlašić was enough to put machines for arrangements of paths into operation. The companies “Vlašić-ski”, “Ozon” and SRC “Vlašić” have already started with preparations for the winter season.

“50 cm of snow fell and the machines are running. We are planning in the next few days to put into operation machines for artificial snow in order for paths to be ready for skiing.  The expanding of an artificial lake that connects the system for the artificial snow finished on time. The lake is filled and has a capacity of  5.000 cubic meters instead of 3.500 cubic meters as it used to have” said the Director of the company “Ozon”, Enes Konjalić.

This year, three big ski lifts Babanovac 1 and 2 and Markovac, as well as two smaller ski lifts will be in disposal for fans of winter sports.

The companies “Vlašić-ski”, “Ozon” and SRC “Vlašić” have made significant efforts to improve the artificial snow system and to solve communal problems in the tourist resort Babanovac.

The system for the collection of water supply of 220 cubic meter capacity has benn built, and the long term problem with garbage has been solved by the purchase of containers placed in small concrete structures.
