Training is being implemented with the support of the Netherlands, and there will be workshops, interactive discussions and presentations, designed for employed people in social care Una-Sana Canton (USK) and Canton 10, who work with children and youth without parental care and who prepare them for independent life.

The aim of the training, as stated, is that professionals to learn effective methods of working with young people in the process of their independence, using the manual “Step in the future”, which is written by the SOS Children’s Village organizations in B&H and Hope and Homes for Children with the support of Netherlands.

So far, there are held six training in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Zenica, Mostar and Tuzla, and after Bihać, trainings will be held in October in Doboj and Trebinje. It is planned that about 150 professionals from the centers for social work, foster associations, children’s villages and institutions that care for children without parental care, to pass this education.
