The Presence of the Chinese Companies in the Energetic Sector of BiH is an Example for Future Investors

Tuzla-termoelektranaSarajevo – the Deputy Chairman of the Council of ministers and the Minister of foreign affairs in BiH Zlatko Lagumdžija talked yesterday with the Chinese ambassador in BiH, Dong Chunfeng.

During the meeting where they discussed especially the possibilities to improve economic cooperation between the two countries, Lagumdžija emphasized that the existence of the bilateral agreements between BiH and PRC concerning economy opens a path for improvement of the economic cooperation, which is based on real premises.

Lagumdžija expressed his satisfaction with the presence of some Chinese companies in the Bosnian energetic sector which represents a great encouragement for the projects to come.

They concluded that the preparations for the implementation of the project of constructing the Bloc 7 of the therm power plant Tuzla worth 1,5 billion BAM and which will, according to the results of the tender from April 2014, be constructed by the Chinese consortium “China Gezhouba Group Co Ltd. – Lider Guandong Electric Power Design Institute”, are going just as planned.

He also pointed out that this, as well as other projects by the Chinese companies, can be a positive example for other Chinese investors in B&H.

In that context, he emphasized the potentials B&H has in the infrastructure and telecommunication sector, as well as some other resources.

On this occasion, Lagumdžija thanked ambassador Chunfeng for the help China provided to the population affected by the floods in B&H. – was announced at the PR Office of the Ministry of foreign affairs.
