Presidency of BiH accepts Invitation for Participation in the NATO Summit

13288735_1190138984370389_298926237_oAt today’s session, Presidency of BiH accepted the invitation by the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, addressed to the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH BAkir Izetbegović, for participation in the NATO Summit in the Republic of Poland, which is to be held on July 9 this year.

Presidency of BiH reached a Decision on accession of BiH to the Protocol on amendments to the International convention on simplification and harmonization of customs procedures.

Moreover, the BiH Presidency approved the conclusion of the Administrative contact on pre-election support for local elections 2016 between the Central Election Commission and the Council of Europe, as well as the Protocol on the use of joint list of translators in the field of migrations and asylum.

Presidency of BiH accepted the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Federal Government of Austria on the exchange and mutual protection of secret information and the Agreement between BiH and the Republic of Azerbaijan on international road transportation.

Attitude of the BiH Presidency is that BiH should participate in the capital of the Fund for migrants and refugees established within the Council of Europe Development Bank. Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, is tasked with defining the amount of donor funds that BiH could pay to the Fund.

At today’s session, the BiH Presidency ratified the Protocol on cross-border supervision between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Montenegro, as well as the Nota agreement – exchange of notes between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the allocation of non-refundable aid, stated the Presidency of BiH.
