The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has today mandated the BiH Council of Ministers to submit a proposal of the Agreement on the Reduction of the Price of Roaming Services in Public Mobile Broadband in the Western Balkans within 7 days, which will allow the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to endorse it during the Second Digital Summit of the Western Balkans, in Belgrade on 4thand 5th April this year.

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik interpreted completely wrong a telephone conversation with BiH Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic regarding the readiness of signing a Regional Agreement on Reduction of Roaming Rates for Western Balkan Countries, was stated by Dzaferovic on Tuesday.

By improper interpretation of a telephone conversation, the public misinterpreted the perception that Dzaferovic blocks or opposes the signing of this agreement, the Public Relations Department of the BiH Presidency said.

As stated, it is true that a member Dzaferovic supports the signing of the Regional Agreement on the Reduction of Roaming Rates for Western Balkan Countries. Dzaferovic, at a recent meeting with representatives of the European Commission, specifically emphasized that such a decision was in the interest of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
