The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow.
The visit program includes a ceremonial welcome with military honors and a meeting of members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, the Presidency of BiH announced.
This is the first visit of the current President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, to Bosnia and Herzegovina since his election in February 2023.
Last year, the Bosniak Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, expressed his gratitude for Cyprus’ support in making the decision to open accession negotiations in March 2024.
He also assessed that the overall bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cyprus are friendly and without open issues, and that they represent a good basis for further development of cooperation.
