President of Republika Srpska met with Iranian Ambassador to BiH

President of Republika Srpska, one of the entities, Zeljka Cvijanovic, met on Thursday with Iranian Ambassador to BiH, Mahmoud Heidari, and stressed that Republika Srpska is institutionally, politically and economically stable, and supports every good initiative that can contribute to better relations with Iran.

Interlocutors estimated that, regardless of geographical distance, there are significant potentials for improving economic cooperation and links in the field of culture.

Cvijanovic and Haidari exchanged views on the relations between Iran and BiH, Iran and the Republika Srpska, as well as the current situation in the Persian Gulf.

During the meeting, interlocutors discussed political and economic issues as well as possibilities for improving cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
