Predrag Praštalo, the President of the European Movement in BiH, and Andrej Grasselli, the Ambassador of Slovenia in BiH spoke today in Sarajevo regarding the current activities of the movement.

Emphasis was placed on the Day of Europe in BiH, which the European Movement will this year mark the ninth time a series of cultural, sports and entertainment events.

This year, the project of marking the Day of Europe in BiH will be, according to the system of rotation (alternating between the Federation and RS), marked on the territory of the RS. The local community will be the host partner, after Gračanica in 2007, Zenica in 2008, Banja Luka in 2009, Bihać in 2010, Pale-Jahorina in 2011 and Vitez in 2012. The European Movement will announce this in the first half of February, when a press conference will be organized to mark the occasion.

Nebojša Radmanović, the Presidency Chairman of BiH, recently assumed sponsorship for the project Day of Europe in BiH 2013, which is similarly expected from the Council of Ministers and the Chairman Vjekoslav Bevanda, who was the sponsor for this project last year in Vitez.

The European Movement in BiH also expects support for this project from the RS government and the BiH Parliament, which will in the future pay and suggest a partnership in the project to mark the Day of Europe.
