As a part of initiative to strengthen cultural, educational and political connections between USA and BiH, American-Bosnian Foundation in cooperation with Permanent Mission of BiH to the UN, will organise on the 31 January a concert of young musicians and composers from BiH in the small hall of Carnegie Hall in New York.
Concert will be opened by Mirsada Čolaković, permanent representative of BiH to the UN and Jan Eliasson, deputy secretary general of the UN.
Besides that, in SAIS Centre for Transatlantic relation of the Johns Hopkin University in Washington, on 5 and 6 February, there will be a panel dedicated to BiH, which will focus on the economic issues of BiH and position of women in BiH.
Panels will be opened by FBiH President Živko Budimir and the ambassador of the USA in BiH Jadranka Negodić.
Today, in hotel ‘Europe’ in Sarajevo there will be a press conference concerning the concert, said the American-Bosnian Foundation.
