Representatives of Škoda from Mlade Boleslav visited last week ”Prevent’s ” production halls in Zenica.
The reason for the visit is the start of serial production of car upholstery for Škoda Octavia.
”The influence of negative conjecture of auto industry to ”Prevent” is inevitable and it depends the adaptation of human resources, but this project will decrease the negative influence and will keep 250 jobs” , said Almir Jazvin, president of Prevent Administration in BiH and adds: ” This cooperation will strengthen ”Prevent” Zenica as a supplier of premium cars, such as Porsche, Audi and Škoda. We are pleased that through this project we’ve diversified the network of buyers and market, since a great deal of our products goes to Russia as well.”
Apart from Zenica, representatives of Škoda visited Prevent ”Visoko” and saw the high standards and quality of ”Prevent”.
New Octavia, based on preliminary reactions should bring good results because it is considered the best Octavia ever. Prevent Zenica is planning to produce 400 car upholstery a day.
