Price of New Dwellings in BiH Increased by Eight Percent

The average price of new dwellings sold in first quarter of 2021 is 1 801 BAM, in comparison with the average price of new dwellings sold in 2020, the average price is increased by 8.0% and compared to the first quarter of 2020 is increased d by 10.5%, according to BiH Agency for Statistics.

The number of new dwellings sold in first quarter of 2021 is decreased by 2.2% in comparison to the first quarter of 2020. In comparison to the average number of new dwellings sold in 2020 is decreased by 21.1%. 

Useful floor area of new dwellings sold in first quarter of 2021 compared to first quarter of 2020, is decreased by 4.0% and compared to the average floor area of new dwellings sold in 2020 is increased by 21.0%. 

Value of new orders in first quarter of 2021 increased by 6.1% compared to the same period of previous year. 

Value of construction works done in first quarter of 2021 increased by 3.3% compared to the same quarter of 2020. 

Out of total value of construction works done in first quarter of 2021, 30.8% of works is related to Buildings and 69.2% on Civil engineering works.

Number of building permits issued in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the average number of building permits issued in 2020, decreased by 37.8% and compared to the first quarter of 2020, decreased by 28.1%. 

Number of dwellings planned for construction in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the number of dwellings planned for construction in 2020, decreased by 72.5% and compared to the first quarter of 2020, decreased by 42.3%.
