Members of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH will receive a request for changes to the legislation by foreseeing an increase in excise duties on oil and oil products by15 fenings.
Deputies will consider a set of laws that regulate this area in the first reading within the shortened procedure.
Deputies will receive proposals of amendments to the Law on excise duties in BiH, the Law on indirect taxation system and the Law on payments to single account and allocation of revenues, which is proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
The proposed legislation that envisages the provision of an additional 10 fenings per liter of fuel for the construction of motorways and five fenings for road construction, and the funds will be paid on special accounts of public companies engaged in the construction of roads in BiH.
On the agenda within a shorter procedure is the second reading of the Proposal of Law on the marking of small arms, light weapons and related ammunition with mark “E” as a kind of confirmation of certain compliance with the EU in this area.
The adoption of this law will facilitate monitoring of arms trafficking and strengthen institutions in the fight against illegal arms trafficking, as well as to ensure closer cooperation with other countries in the process of monitoring arms and ammunition.
This law prescribes the obligation of manufacturers of weapons and ammunition in BiH to mark the weapon during the production with unique product code.
